How can paediatricians help with your newborn?
Physical examination
Tracking your baby’s weight and length. Examining hip development, looking for any signs of cardiac or respiratory problems
Feeding assessments
Helping to assess for for tongue ties, nutrition and hydration status, as well as your baby’s feeding patterns and volumes
General assessments
Evaluating for signs of jaundice, birthmarks, lumps and bumps or rashes that could suggest potential health issues
Guidance beyond the hospital
Our doctors are available for your queries from the time you leave hospital right until your 6-8 week check up - and beyond!
